TO HEMP OR NOT TO HEMP

We’re all familiar with marijuana. Weed. Ganja.  Growing up I was taught that smoking weed was equal to murder.  I’m not a smoker, so weed never interested me.  That’s not to say I’ve never tried it.  I did.  I almost died 😊 I couldn’t get the inhaling part right.  Anyway, I never paid much attention to hemp until recently.  I have sensitive skin, eczema and acne. I’m constantly struggling to find products that won’t irritate my skin.  I discovered hemp and created hemp infused shea butter.  It worked so well, I started to wonder what other benefits the plant offers and now I’m a believer.

First, it’s important to know that hemp and CBD are very different products and neither of them are marijuana.

CBD OIL – Uses the stalks, leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant. These contain a higher concentration of CBD and have many health benefits.

HEMP OIL – Cold-pressed and comes from the seeds of the cannabis plant.  Does not contain CBD. Contains rich nutrients, fatty acids and other useful compounds.

***Both are oils, come from the cannabis plant, are non-intoxicating, are all natural, can be applied topically or ingested.

You cannot get high by using either of these products as neither contain THC (the psychoactive compound in cannabis).

So, should you use these products?  Depends.  Your body is different from every other body on earth, which means results are typical but can vary.  It’s definitely worth a try.

I used hemp oil and received immediate relief from the pain of eczema.  I use it daily as a moisturizer.  It isn’t oily and it absorbs nicely.  I also use it in my hair.  I’ve noticed that my hair doesn’t tangle as easily and is soft, not oily.  It also controls acne and dermatitis.  Hemp oil strengthens the skin. Personally, I consider it a miracle oil.

I recently started using CBD products.  Immediately, I noticed a mood calming effect. If you have children, you should use CBD for that reason alone 😊.  Thankfully, I do not have chronic pain, but CBD has been shown to manage almost every type of pain from arthritis to PMS.

What I really love about these products is they are an all-natural solution to everyday problems and can be used everyday.  There are multiple ways to use these products; topically or internally, all are easy to do. If you suffer from any of the following, you should give hemp and CBD a try:

·       Acne

*       Anxiety

·       Arthritis

·       Brittle hair & nails

·       Blood clots

·       Eczema

·       Depression

·       Dry skin

·       Heart disease

·       Hormonal imbalance

·       High Blood pressure

·       High cholesterol

·       Inflammation

·       Insomnia

·       PMS

·       Psoriasis

·       Stress

***This is not a complete list of issues, but you get the idea.  The earth has supplied us with everything we need to survive.  We need to trust the earth.
